eLda Longo

Cosenza, 1978

Elda Longo is graduated with honors in 1995, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. She obtained a second degree in Art Graphic at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro in 2014. She is a teacher for high school since 2007 and she has always been attracted by new media’s communication focused her artistic work on the potentiality offered by the latest computer graphic softwares. In 2013, at the Gallery of the European Parliament in Brussels, the exhibition “Night Light”, curated by Tonino Sicoli. Still, with Tonino Sicoli, in 2010 and 2011 other two solo exhibitions: “Somewhere Tonight”, at the gallery “Luigi di Sarro” in Rome, and in Cosenza at the provincial gallery “Santa Chiara.” In 2015 she has exhibited at the gallery “Forum Vittoria” in Bologna, in a solo exhibition “Elda Longo” curated by Gianfranco Labrosciano, with the sponsorship of Fondazione Rizzo.
