Eloisa Gobbo

Padua, 1969

In 1992 she graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, Milan.
Among the founders of the Italian Newbrow, a cultural scene emerged from the Prague Biennale in 2009, which uses images and distinctive features of popular culture to create, through irony, direct and immediate art.
The work of Eloisa Gobbo tells stories through the "pattern", using a variety of media, from paper to fabric. In the works "Matryoshka" or "Petals of stars" it is as if one or more patterns rose from the canvas in a three-dimensional metamorphosis and had given birth to the objects themselves. The hypertext is created with full and empty, with the light and shadows.
